Meet Jennifer

Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Georgia Composite Board and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Jennifer enjoys working with couples, young adults and adults of any age (men and women) who are struggling with issues related to anxiety, stress, depression, mood disorders, marital problems, relationship issues, trauma complications, adjustment to life transitions, eating disorders, career counseling, and women’s issues. Jennifer’s goal is to assist clients in developing their own awareness while exploring their life experiences and inspire them to achieve healing. She also enjoys providing parenting sessions to those who are struggling with their teens through difficult experiences.
 
Jennifer’s treatment interventions include Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Jennifer also offers Premarital Counseling delivered by the Prepare and Enrich Curriculum. Even though Jennifer does not specialize in marriage counseling, she enjoys working with couples that want to improve the quality of their marriage, communication, and understanding of one another.

Additionally

Before joining Legacy, Jennifer’s 27-year career consisted of human resources and operations management. Jennifer has also served in a Regional Leadership role for a Georgia based Community Service Organization working with clientele from the Department of Family and Children Services, school systems, and rural communities providing mental health therapy. Jennifer is often found volunteering with children and adults with various needs and teaching yoga to all populations. Jennifer and her husband spend their leisure time enjoying the outdoors, traveling, enjoying a good beach day, and home renovations.​
